The classic “Wizard of Oz” is perhaps the most popular children’s story ever written, and this version brings the beloved story and all its famous characters to our stage.  A cyclone carries Dorothy and her dog, Toto, to the magical land of Oz, where they encounter the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Woodsman, the rubber-legged Scarecrow, Glinda the Good Witch and the evil Witch of the West, who is determined to destroy Dorothy and steal the secret of the magical slippers.

Rehearsal dates and times vary February 8 through April 25. Leading roles require more rehearsals than supporting cast members. Actors cast in this show will need to pay a registration fee. A mandatory parent meeting will be held from 7-9 pm, February 6; all registration fees will be due at this time. For more info, please call the Cultural Arts Division: 248-473-1859.
